Commissions & Collaborations
Medina Lake. Oil on Panel, 6”x 12” 2026
View from the community dock at Holiday Villages, Bandera, Texas. To my right was a sign that says “swim at your own risk.” Locals say the water will return-someday.
I create landscape paintings for collectors, homeowners, wineries, architects, hospitality spaces, and healing places. With your collaboration on choosing the most memorable location(s), I will respond to a site’s light, scale, weather, and emotional feel, so each painting becomes a lasting expression of place.
Commissions can be a single piece or a series showing different views, weather, or times of day. My calm, meditative paintings suit quiet, restful settings. Based in San Antonio, I’m especially drawn to the Hill Country, Central and West Texas, and the Gulf Coast—sunrises, sunsets, storms, and night skies. I’d love to capture the special feeling of your location.
The process
Each collaboration begins with a conversation about the landscape and your vision.
The process includes:
consultation and discussion of scale and location
budget decisions, contract signed, deposit
site visits and photographic references
development of studies and composition
client approvals
creation of the final painting
delivery and installation coordination if needed, final payment
Every project is approached with sensitivity to the character and emotional presence of the landscape.

Why collectors, designers & businesses commission my work
Original paintings rooted in place create a deeper and more meaningful experience than generic imagery. For hospitality spaces, wineries, and private collectors, these works become part of the identity of the environment—reflecting its atmosphere, history, and presence.
I would be honored to work with you,
Marjorie
